In this module, we will explore different methodologies for investigating and understanding problems. We will learn about different research methods, including visually-aided interviews, and visual representations and investigation, such as network or iceberg maps.
Marie is Director for Solutions and Innovation at Africa Practice, having joined the company in 2017. With a backrgound in international law and negotoations, she is trained in the Harvard Method of Collaborative and Creative Negotiations and Capacity Works - a human-centred design approach to collaboration and advocacy management.

Participants can work in a personalised copy of the module-specific Toolbox; a GSlide document with all relevant module tools for training purposes and for future use. Participants also use some of the other templates provided, such as those on Miro. They can take a screenshot or download the relevant submission as an image. Assignments are due on the last day of each module. Each module is designed to be completed within 6 weeks.
Yes, there is a live learning session for all enroller learners approximately every fortnight. During these sessions, we complete small group excercises that bring the methodology tools to life. It's an opportunity to provide and receive peer feedback, explore and solve challenges, and discuss latest innovations.
